Are you a recent graduate accountant, or 1 year ofaccounting experience, ideally within a professional services environment thatmight be seeking an organisation to support you develop your accounting careerto the next level? If yes, Join our established accounting firm in Rosedale, North Shoreand be part of a supportive team dedicated to delivering exceptional service toa diverse range of clients.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create detailed spreadsheets and reports
Experience using MYOB and Experience with Xero (an advantage)
Sound knowledge and practical application of New Zealand taxation
Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines

As the successful applicant you will have:

High standards and value accuracy and strong attention to detail
the ability to work with the busy team and offer them the support across the financial activities which include reporting, meeting legislative end of year compliance, GST, supporting a busy accounting administrative team and providing support to the wider organisation across a breadth of financial reconciliations and reporting needs.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese (mandarin) and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset, the ability to self-manage and act decisively to solve problems
Strong analytical and investigative skills as well as problem solving aptitude
The ability to be a positive team player with drive to further your career and willingness to take accountability for your own work and development
NZ Bachelor Degree in Accounting
