Horticulture (Farming, Animals & Conservation)
Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated nursery Supervisor to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the optimal growth and health of our flowers through advanced horticulture practices, irrigation management, and nursery yard management.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery to an excellent standard, and supervising the harvest and pruning crew. Excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Oversee and manage crop production.
2. Monitor crop health and address any issues promptly.
3. Irrigation: Ensure precise water and nutrient delivery.
4. Prune hydraingea base on season and market time
5. Machinery operation & maintenance.
6. Organize the yard and hand tools maintenance
7. Maintain accurate records of crop performance and environmental conditions.
8.Collaborate with the team and supervise the harvest
9.crew and pruning crew.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Desired Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
1. Level 5 Or above horticulture study background
2. Proven experience in horticulture nursery Or greenhouse crop management.
3. Strong knowledge of agronomy and irrigation systems.
4. Supervisor experience
Skilled in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
6. Grow Safe certificate required
