Join Our Team: Project Management Team Member
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Project Management Team Member to join our team in a client-side project management role. You will play a key part in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, working closely with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Assist and support the Project Manager in executing key tasks and strategies.
Define project objectives, scope, roles, and responsibilities to ensure alignment and clarity.
Manage resource allocation and availability for internal teams and third-party collaborators.
Develop and maintain project budgets, tracking costs to ensure projects are delivered on budget.
Create detailed project plans, scheduling milestones, workstreams, and key activities.
Ensure the project is delivered on time and in line with the approved plan.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
Manage and adapt to changes in project scope, schedules, and budgets as needed.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth project execution.
Foster strong relationships and maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
Coordinate design-related matters, oversee design and consent progress, and maintain thorough documentation.
Perform other tasks as required by the employer to support the team and project success.
Location: Auckland CBD and multiple construction sites.
A relevant degree (e.g., engineering, construction management, project management, architecture, or a related field) is preferred.
Prior experience in project management or a related field is an advantage, particularly in client-side roles.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach to challenges.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
