Positions: Assistant Manager / Chef / Spa Therapist / Housekeeper
Location: Paihia, Bay of Islands, New Zealand
About Us:
We're the new management team at Paihia Beach Resort & Spa, and we're building an incredible new team from the ground up! Our goal is to deliver an unparalleled luxury experience to our guests. If you’re passionate, dedicated, and excited about working in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment, we’d love to have you on board.
Positions Available:
1. Assistant Manager
Responsibilities: Support the new General Manager in day-to-day operations, lead the team, manage guest relations, and ensure the resort runs smoothly.
Requirements: Must have excellent English speaking and writing skills, and hold a valid work visa.
This role is perfect if you: Have management experience, are a hands-on problem solver, and any other skill will be bones.
2. Chef
Responsibilities: Prepare and cook high-quality Western cuisine, ensuring dishes meet the resort’s high standards. You’ll have the opportunity to showcase your culinary skills and create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Requirements: Extensive experience in Western cuisine, ability to work in a busy kitchen environment, and a valid work visa are required.
This role is perfect if you: Love cooking and are passionate about creating unforgettable culinary experiences.
3. Spa Therapist
Responsibilities: Provide a range of luxurious spa treatments, including massages, facials, and body treatments. You’ll be the key to helping our guests relax and rejuvenate.
Requirements: Good communication skills in English and a valid work visa are required.
This role is perfect if you: Are passionate about wellness, enjoy helping others unwind, and love creating a serene environment.
4. Housekeeper
Responsibilities: Maintain spotless guest rooms and public areas, ensuring every guest feels right at home.
Requirements: Must hold a valid work visa. No specific English language skills are required.
This role is perfect if you: Have an eye for detail and take pride in creating a welcoming and clean environment behind the scenes.
Please Note: We do not provide staff accommodation, so candidates will need to arrange their own living arrangements. Paihia and towns nearby are beautiful areas with plenty of accommodation options available.
