YC Homes is an innovative and well-established, with a wealth of experience based in Albany, award-winning Residential Main Contractor. We have a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality projects throughout Auckland, the projects typically range between $1m to $20m in value.

Due to consistent and steady growth we are looking for Site Manager to join our team, you will be working closely with managing director, quantity surveyor, project manager, to ensure the project is completed on time, on spec, on budget, and on quality.

Key Responsibilities

Supervising and managing in house direct labour, contractors, subcontractors, ensuring efficient utilization of resources

Conduct regular site visits to ensure adherence to drawings and specifications
Coordinating with various stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution
Provide project updates to internal team and client
Observing all health and safety requirements to ensure a safe workplace environment
Monitoring and maintaining levels of quality and take proactive measures to mitigate potential risks.

Experience and Skills

Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred
Mininum 5 years post qualification experience in the residential construction industry
Strong commitment to follow health and safety regulations
Understand and be familiar with NZ construction regulations and standards
Reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic
Fluent in English and good command in Chinese will be a plus
Full NZ driver's license
