Junior/Intermediate/Senior BAS Accountant
Our firm is a long established accountancy firm located in Epsom, Auckland. We pride ourselves on maintain long-term, supportive and trusting working relationships with our clients.
We are looking for some passionate term members from junior to senior level to join our friendly team. With significant resources and a great team environment, the positions will utilise all your skills and provide a great working environment.
The positions are fulltime with minimum 30 hours per week. You do not have to be CA qualified, although this may be beneficial, but it is your experience, knowledge, skills and “can do” attitude which is all important.
As part of our team you will have the opportunity to:

Key accounting duties:
• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for various entities
• Preparing different types of Statuary and Tax Returns (GST returns, PAYE filing etc)
• Providing value-added services including budgeting, management reporting, business plans and client advisory meetings
• Any other functions associated with chartered accountancy business advisory service
Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
• Preferably minimum one year accounting experience for junior position and two years plus BAS experience in a reputable NZ CA firm for intermediate or senior position.
• Knowledge and experience in using accounting systems (MYOB AO, XERO etc.)
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with strong client service focus
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
