Tarora is building New Zealand’s newest Luxury Lodge, creating a world-class oasis in the beautiful Fiordland region of the South Island. We are currently in the process of recruiting multiple mid- to high-level management positions.
We offer stable working hours and a permanent position. We are an ACCREDITED EMPLOYER in New Zealand, and we also have qualified staff to assist with any visa processing. Additionally, we offer assistance in Chinese if necessary.
1. Position: Site Manager Requirement:
· Manage and coordinate construction activities(across multiple sites), including earthworks, renovation of existing buildings, building new structures, civil works, etc.
· Resolve construction issues and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Communicate with and report to the onsite Project Manager and project stakeholders.
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as a construction site manager.
· Excellent communication, attention to detail, responsibility and dedication to the project
· Must be registered NZ builder (Licensed Building Practitioner) or equivalent – preferred but not required.
2. Position: Commercial Construction Project Manager Requirement:
· Ensure that commercial construction projects are executed according to schedule, budget, and quality standards. Coordinating onsite and external construction teams.
· Communicate with and report to project stakeholders and onsite client representatives.
· Minimum 3-years relevant work experience in a position of leadership.
· Strong project management experience, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong responsibility towards the project.
· NZ certification or NZ recognized diploma preferred, but not required.

· Implement health and safety protocols, including conducting toolbox meetings and safety audits.
Experience &Skills · Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site manager in the construction industry.
· Strong knowledge of construction codes, standards, and regulations.
· Proven experience in commercial fit-out projects, particularly high-end fit-outs.
· Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with clients and subcontractors.
· Ability to identify and resolve construction issues efficiently to ensure project progression.
· Experience in managing subcontractors and driving project programs to achieve milestones.
· Proficiency in project management software for developing and managing project schedules.
· Understanding of design and build projects, from inception to completion.
· Dedication to health and safety practices, including conducting regular toolbox meetings and safety audits.

· Organize project activities, procurement, scheduling, and resource allocation.
· Develop and implement project plans, including detailed programming using MS Project.
· Manage subcontractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with contracts and safety protocols.
· Facilitate consenting processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
· Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support.
· Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
· Maintain accurate project documentation.
· Ensure successful project completion and handover within specified timeframes.
Experience &Skills · Minimum three years of industry experience, with proven experience in a leadership role.
· Extensive construction experience, especially in commercial or large-scale residential projects.
· Proficiency in MS Project and other relevant software.
· Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in construction management or engineering.
· Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, processes, and regulations.
· Familiarity with consenting procedures, subcontractor management, CCCs (Code Compliance Certificates), and SSSPs (Site Specific Safety Plans).
· Enthusiastic, flexible, adaptive, self-motivated, with an eye for detail.
· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
