1. Quality Controller*1

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Streamland is a leading honey manufacturer based in Rotorua. We currently export NZ honey products to global markets including China, Southeast Asia, the USA, UK, Europe, and the Middle East. ABOUT THE ROLE

This role lead the food safety and quality assurance functions in our Operations team.

You will be responsible for taking a pro-active approach to food safety standards and compliance across our operations.

Our business runs Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementing systems & document control for quality, quarantine purposes and RMP compliance.

• Oversee daily production quality control, routine inspection, sampling, testing, calibration, pest control, document compliance, and site hygiene.

•Oversee activities to meet customer standards, expectations, and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor and advise on regulatory requirements and audit findings.

•Review, update, and develop product specifications and information forms.

•Conduct RMP audits.

•Provide Document Control support, including data entry and filing.

• Support E-cert Coordinating and Operations team when required.

Qualifications:

Ideally will have tertiary level qualification or similar level in relevant discipline such as Food Science, Food Technology or Quality or will be qualified by experience.
Experience in food manufacturing requirements within a production environment for exports would be ideal.
Knowledge or experience in RMP, OMAR, HACCP and GFSI.
High attention to detail, positive solution-focused attitude and strong drive for improvement.

2. Production Worker*1

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Learn and work across all aspects of our Honey manufacutring process (Processing & Bottling) to ensure product quality and process efficiency requirements are met
Advocating for useful changes within Production processes
Handling/uplifting and transferring product as required
Support warehouse team for receiveing and despatch when needed.

Qualifications:

Recent experience working as a Production Operator in a food manufacturing environment.
Proven machine operation and process control experience - not essential
Strong communication skills and great work ethic
Fit, strong and energetic (Able to lift up to 20-25kg)
Able to drive fork lift.
