Aotea Gifts is looking for passionate Chinese Marketing & Tour Coordinators and Duty Managers to
join our teams in Christchurch, Tekapo and Queenstown. These are full-time (30+ hours a week) and
permanent roles. The ideal candidates for these roles will have administrative skills, great
communication skills, and previous work experience in relevant industries.

Chinese Marketing and Tour Coordinator
About the role:

• Plan and coordinate tour groups’ visits to our store and review services provided to tour
  

      groups.

• Develop relationships with industry partners such as Chinese Guide and Escorts.
• Work with the Store Manager to maximise Chinese sales in our store.
• Work with a great team.
• Work with other Aotea Gifts stores and Marketing & Tour Coordinators on marketing,
  

      promotions, and relationships.

• Work with company Management and Directors on relationship-building with Inbound
  

      Operators and the wider Chinese tourism industry.

Duty Manager
About the role:

• Be responsible for controlling the operations of our store whilst on duty;
• Possess great leadership skills
• Possess sound communication and organisational skills;
• Have the ability to work flexible hours;
  

Requirements:

• Possess great communication, organisational and administrative skills in both English and
  

      Mandarin.

• Have exceptional relationship-building skills and enjoy socialising.
• Enjoy selling and negotiating.
• Be fluent in Mandarin, and understand Chinese culture (as you will be responsible for tour
  

       groups from China).

• Previous work experience gained in the tourism industry would be advantageous.
• Enjoy socialising and building industry relationships.
