Geopro Limited is a multi-disciplinary geology and geotechnical engineering consultancy established in Auckland, New Zealand. Geopro Ltd is looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our company. Job description:
The role includes, but is not necessarily limited to:
• Undertake geotechnical investigation including hand augering, machine
drilling supervision, CPT supervision and drilling, groundwater monitoring.
• Installation of piezometer and groundwater testing equipment.
• Core logging based on “Field Description of soil and Rock”, NZGS, Dec 2005.
Use of Core-GS soil logging software.
• Geotechnical inspections including fill test, CBR test, foundation and retaining walls.
• Geotechnical report writing.
• Geotechnical design and assessment
• High-quality verbal and written communication with clients.
Other Duties: Duties of Employees shall include any work that may be required of them in connection with the Employer's business, provided the Employee has the appropriate skills and/or qualifications.
Other requirements: the position requires travel from time to time. A valid driver licence is essential.
