Background
Janak Petal was fatally stabbed outside the Rose Cottage Superette in Auckland on 23 Nov.
A staff was brutally attacked in the aggravated robbery in a broad daylight in Glenfield clinic on 7 Dec.
A large number of robberies, burglaries and shopliftingsnot only happened to retailers from small dairy, liquorand jewellery shops to giant appliance stores, but also happened to ordinary people and households.
Appeal
In the wake of the rising crime, we are hereby calling everyone to come forward to fight against the crime.
We are hereby to make the appeal: CHANGE THE LAW.
We want justice, tougher sentences, youth crime penalties, and restore of Three Strikes on repeat offenders.

We are urging everyone to join us for this TOUGHER ON CRIME protest.

• Gather and depart from Aotea Square, march on Queen Street to Britomart Train Station at Auckland CBD.
