We are a locally owned company, which specialises in design,supply and installing curtain walling/façades cross New Zealand.

Growing rapidly, we are currently looking for the logistic coordinator to join our friendly team.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Strategically plan and manage logistics,warehouse, transportation, and client services
QA/QC inward products from overseas
Liaise and negotiate with suppliers,manufacturers
Plan and track the shipment of final productsaccording to project requirements.
Keep logs and records of project goods, fixingsstock, executed orders etc.
Utilize logistics management to optimize deliveryprocedures.
Supervise orders and arrange stocking of rawmaterials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
Ensure premises, assets and communication waysare used effectively
Prepare accurate reports for upper management
Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customersetc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
Recruit and coordinate logistics staff (e.g.truck drivers) according to availabilities and requirements
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, andtimeliness targets
Maintain metrics and analyse data to assessperformance and implement improvements
Study job specifications to determine appropriatelogistic methods
Coordinate off-site activities according toproject’s plan while ensuring compliance with safety regulations/laws, environmentalstandards
Communicate expectations, assignments, and responsibilitiesclearly and professionally
Undertake ongoing customer service work tobetter understand the demands, positives, and pain points of the job
Providing one point of contact for the wholeproject

To be successful in this role:

Degree level qualification in business/management or relevant
Previous experience in Logistic coordination is preferred
Effective communication skills and excellent attentionto detail
Strong problem-solving skill
High organised and able to effectively multitask
