“A shop owner told Newshub it took the police around 20 minutes to arrive, despite the shopping complex only being a two-minute walk from the police station.”

A shop owner at the complex told Newshub the offenders returned the next morning wearing the uniform and clothes they stole from the people they attacked, mocking the staff with the keys they stole from the stores.

The man told Newshub the youth offenders will take photos of people they plan to attack and then will often return to abuse them.

He said the gang ranges from smaller groups to over 50 people and claimed they sometimes carry BB guns and knives with them.

"The business owners [are] hiding in complete fear while their businesses lose money."

Police would not comment on whether the offenders were known to police.

不开店就不会被砸，不上班就不会被骚扰，这么简单的道理为什么有些爱劳动的SB就是不明白呢？

这就是犯罪团伙！第二天还组团拿着抢劫的赃物回到事发地点像受害者炫耀。

任何国家都属于严重治安事件，新西兰警察跟政府不管了？

物价飞涨生活质量大不如前工党不作为自然会有民间力量反抗可以理解打砸抢也算是一种调节机制吧
