We are a long-established,progressive, and values-driven Chartered Accounting practice based in Remuera Auckland.
We are looking toadd a new Intermediate Accountant to join our team. As an IntermediateAccountant, you will be assisting the Manager to look after a portfolio ofclients, preparing their financial statements, and tax returns, and providing otherad hoc services on demand.
This role is idealfor someone who has current firm public practice experience that wants to moveto a higher position. We would like to attract well-rounded and value-drivenaccountants who want to add value to clients and our business.
Ideally, you willhave:
· a minimum of 2 years of practical public accounting experience
· ability to manage a portfolio of clients via face-to-face meetings,phone, and email-based communication
· a proven problem solver capable of analytical thinking &investigative research.
· self-directed, motivated, and team worker
· whilst able to delegate and keep in mind the big picture, you shouldalso have an organised and structured approach to task management, along withattention to details & deadlines.
· a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is advantageous
· proficiency in English and Cantonese is an advantage
· Ability to use XERO or MYOB at an intermediate/advanced level
