I have spoke to the electrician, based on his experience, when the wastedisposal is not working, it’s hardly to repair it. And the call out fee isaround $100+gst, he also give you the quote to replace a new one, once hechecked and not repairable, he can replace it at the same time. Quote is below 435+gst, Insinkrator Model E20 waste disposal with 2 year warranty
If air switch is required, 120+gst extra
For the plumber, call out fee also take place, it’s hard to identify what isthe problem until he physically check on-site, I suggest if the repair cost isover $250+gst then make a quote but the call out fee still there.
