Keyresponsibilities
· Consult with clients,building professionals, Auckland Councils and architects
· negotiating withbuilding owners, property developers and subcontractors involved in theconstruction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
· plan, establish andmonitor health and safety systems
· deal with health andsafety paperwork, give site safety induction with subcontractors and organisetool box meeting on site
· establish andimplement traffic management and environmental plans
· coordinating labourresources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
· operating andimplementing coordinated work programs for sites
· keep project progresson track and avoid any delays
· hire tools and makepurchase of building materials
· manage site waste
Skills and experience needed:
· Tradecertificate or tertiary qualification and above related to constructionindustry
· Previoussite management experience in a contractor or a builder will be advantageousbut not essential
· Understandingof NZ Construction systems and building, standards will be a bonus
· Quicklearner for new systems and adapt to changes
· Excellentcommunication skills that lead to efficient and effective team work
· Can-doattitude
· NZfull driver’s licence
