New Zealanders may be shaking off their fear of plaster-clad homes.
The widespread leaky building problems that affected a number of monolithically-clad houses built in the 1990s has been credited for a number of years with putting buyers off plaster houses completely.
But the Building Act and Building Code have since been updated, and new requirements added that confront many of the problems that caused leaky issues.
