非常自觉的，周日上学赖床，只要lockdown就不赖床，全家起得最早就是他。然后就跟同学们在网上巴拉巴拉的谈战略。。。哈哈

Essential worker的小孩可以去学校，但是也是玩，不会上课，老师说怕班级学习水平两极分化。

这是我娃学校发的指引

INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISTANCE LEARNING

1. Remember you are “in school/class”.

· Yes, it looks different. Yes, it feels different. But your learning must not stop, just because we are working in a different way. This is too big of a year to miss this week’s learning. Remind yourself that you are preparing for your exams each and every day of this week.

· You are expected to complete your work. If you do not complete work, you will be completing it for lunchtime detentions when we return to school. If you fall behind, are unable to complete work due to illness… you must talk to me.

· Bookwork standards must be maintained (neat writing, underline date, headings, math answers…, pen colour…)

2. Set up a workspace that is free from distraction.

3. Attend compulsory Zoom sessions.

· If we mark work on Zoom, then mark accurately. If you make a lot of mistakes, you need to ask questions then, or if we run out of time, then you must come online for optional Zoom sessions, where I can go over things with you to help you understand where you went wrong.

· If I am giving instructions, listen! Remember SLANT.

4. Be honest AND attend optional Zoom sessions.

· Be honest with yourself, your parents and with me if you are struggling with something. It’s OK to make mistakes or to not know. I can help you. Your parents might be able to help you too. We all care about you and your learning!

· Ask, even if you’re just a little unsure. I can’t wander around and see who is struggling, so you need to come to me on Zoom. I have my whiteboard and the ladybird (document camera), so I can show you how to do things just as I would in class.

5. Email all work THAT I ASK FOR.

· CamScanner is a great free app that enables you to scan your work to send me. I find this is more effective that a photo. But, photos are find if you can’t work out how to use CamScanner. Let me know if you’d like a Zoom session showing you how to use CamScanner.

· Please, don’t email me every piece of work you do. I will be checking your books when we return to school.

6. Remember Email etiquette:

· Check you have looked and read all the information and used your initiative before emailing a question. (You need to have tried to find the answer before you ask for help.)

· The subject line needs to explain the topic of your email in 2-5 words.

· Every email must start: Dear Mrs xxxx

· Every email must end: From (your name).

· Your message needs to

clearly explain what your question is, or what work is attached. (e.g. What subject, question number… you are struggling with. OR: Attached is my spelling sentences)
be polite and respectful.

· Limit emails

Only email work that I ask you to email.
Look carefully to see if your question is answered in my instructions, YouTube videos…
Think, what you think I would expect in terms of book layout?
Can you move onto something else, while you wait to ask on the next Zoom session?
Think, if it is better answered on an optional Zoom session, where I can show you using the whiteboard or ladybird.

· NOTE: If you do not follow appropriate email etiquette, you may find you do not get a reply.

7. Remember Zoom etiquette

· Your name needs to be clearly showing – do not try playing tricks or be silly with this, or changing your name (except to set it up with your name as soon as you come online)

· Turn Up and Be Ready: Turn up, be on time and have your books and stationery ready.

Check your speakers are on, and you know how to work your microphone.

· Remember you are “in class”.

SLANT is expected (Sit up, look and listen, ask and answer relevant questions, nod your head, track the speaker) No fiddling or drawing attention to yourself.
Video on.
Sound off unless you are asked to speak.
Use the hand up function.
Do not distract others.
No virtual backgrounds

· If your internet cuts out, come back on as soon as you can.

· Tell your family that you’re going on Zoom, so they know to be quiet in the background.

这两年大学教育都很水，更何况是小学，哎，就想着像20世纪初闹革命似的那样水就完了。

小学的话，在lockdown期间没必要逼得太紧，就坚持做阅读，基本的数学，和一定程度的兴趣活动就好了。

我家小孩主要是学习如何学习，阅读的速度，词汇量是根本需求，用阅读能力去自学数学（阅读基本知识和做习题），自学物理（阅读DK系列适合小朋友的书籍），看netflix关于历史的记录片(增加常识，词汇，和听力)。最后是完成学校的网课，基本写作。之后就是玩，打游戏等等。

小学阅读的标准好像是grade 24，一般的学生是year1就完成grade 22， year2基本的阅读就完成了。剩下就是自己的阅读爱好了

当然这样说了，否则不是把学生吓坏了吗？特殊情况只好远程教育，希望政府多进点疫苗吧否则很难正常。

我在乎的不是小学应该达到什么阅读标准，而是我家小孩的实际阅读能力，词汇，速度,本身积极性,阅读广度等等，这方面我有刻意让他下苦功去强化，因为这是一切其他学科学习的根本基础。

我们经历过两个学校，都用SEESAW平台，作业很多，很全，数学阅读写作体育科学手工等都有，老师也强调，不要有压力，不用全做完。马马虎虎做的话，半个小时搞完。认真仔细搞的话，一天。

每天还有半小时的线上开会，大家聊聊天儿

老师也很负责，还批改上传的作业。

每天持续1小时，老师和孩子们聊聊天，安排画画，WELLBINGS啥的，作业有布置在SEESAW上，但是不强制完成

大学照道理是远程课吧？前天那人不是就是大学生，到大学校园上了两天课，照道理他妹子在爆发中学读书，这哥哥一应该严格隔离，居然大大方方去上课，不知道是太爱学习了还是不在乎。

要是纯学术部分的话，lockdown期间肯定比在学校学的多啊，我们孩子根本不上网课也无视学校作业，每天做我给留的一点作业就比学校进度快了。学校是社交用的。平常也是。打游戏没什么，我们家是女孩一样打，上网联系同学约好了一起打，有的时候发个邮件纠集几个小朋友聊天。
