Overview:
The Marketing and design coordination of OSIM should be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote a product, service or idea. It will concentrate on seasonal, event, product launch marketing. It is a varied role that includes planning, advertising, design, public relations, event organisation, product development, distribution, sponsorship and research. The Marketing and design coordinator overlooks and plans trade shows and roadshows with the Business development manager.
Marketing & Design Coordinator will be involved in developing marketing campaigns to promote our products and service. It is a varied role that includes planning, advertising, design, public relations, event organization and research. This position reports to General Manager, Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager to work together towards gaining a greater market share, explores new markets, and concentrates on brand positioning.

Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic planning, design, implementation and analysis for marketing
Monitor and evaluate on effectiveness of marketing communications
Visual display/merchandising for the stores, roadshow and tradeshows according to brand guideline
Design, create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners and store displays.
Explore new markets and increasing revenue through marketing and branding
Source advertising opportunities, design and implement advertisements in local, regional, national and specialist for publications, radio, outdoor advertising, online, direct mail, point of purchase and event marketing.
Create contents and maintain social media platforms
Manage and allocate budgets for marketing
Working closely with General/Sales Manager to correlate a cohesive plan to transfer the marketing ideas and smoothen the selling process for Sales Consultants
brand design and updating advertisements to local market
brand positioning correctly to Asian, Australian/New Zealanders and exploring all other markets
sourcing advertising opportunities and placing adverts in the press - local, regional, national and specialist publications - or on the radio, depending on the organisation and the campaign;
writing and proofreading copy; liaising with designers and printers;
organising photo shoots;
arranging the effective distribution of marketing materials;
maintaining and updating customer databases;
organising and attending events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions;
sourcing and securing sponsorship;
conducting market research, for example using customer questionnaires and focus groups;
contributing to, and developing, marketing plans and strategies;
managing budgets;
evaluating marketing campaigns;
monitoring competitor activity;
supporting the whole marketing department
working closely with sales trainer to correlate a cohesive plan on how to transfer the marketing ideas and how to use it to the sales consultant.
Skills/Qualifications & Requirements:
A tertiary degree in either Marketing, Design, advertising or public relations
Has design flair and proficient with Adobe software (Please also include a link to your portfolio when applying)
Has had marketing experience in picking a product mix
Must have fluent English
Must be able to speak and read Cantonese or Chinese (Mandarin) (do not need to know both)
Has had marketing experience in creating campaigns
Has had marketing experience in setting goals and meeting target
Understands the Australia/New Zealand market especially the Chinese and Asian demographics
Has a reliable and excellent work ethic
