Jobdescription:
Atlas Concrete are seeking applicants for theposition of Machine operator / Labourer for our recycling sites based at our plantin Albany. This is an entry level role to support the concrete recycling plantoperation as well as learning and upskilling on various machines.
You will work in liaison with the RecyclingPlant Operator assisting with daily maintenance and checks.
Atlas Concrete, hasbeen in business for 70+ years supplying ready mix concrete, pre-cast concrete,aggregate and other related supplies to the wider Auckland and Northlandregions. We have 9 branches across 4 divisions; Atlas Concrete, Atlas Quarries,Mt Rex Shipping, Atlas Tilt Slab.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
· Day-to-day housekeeping and maintenanceof the Recycling plant.
· Assisting the Plant operator withroutine maintenance.
· Assist with quality control of theproducts created.
· Assist operating and maintaining mobilecrushing plants
· Maintaining the yard and plant bysweeping and hosing
· General housekeeping
· Other tasks assigned to them
The successful applicant will be:
· Work well in a close team of 5-10
· Be aware of site hazards and co-operatewith the companies Health and Safety policies
· Be relatively fit to handle a veryphysical job
· Have a minimum of Class 1 licensereliable transport to get to either our Albany or Silverdale sites.
Must have a valid NZ work visa orresidency/citizenship.
Successful applicants must pass apre-employment drug and alcohol test and have New Zealand residency or a validwork permit.
