The New Zealand border is currently closed to almost all travellers to help stop the spread of Covid-19. We had previously not issued your daughter with an eVisa for your Residence application because partners and children of a New Zealand citizen or resident could
only travel to New Zealand without a border exception if they were travelling with that family member.
Immigration New Zealand has recently made changes to instructions around the exceptions criteria which
allowed Partners and dependent children of New Zealand citizens or residents who hold a visa based on their relationship with a New Zealand citizen or resident partner or parent to travel to New Zealand without seeking approval.
The Principal Applicant on your Residence application has been issued their eVisa, and therefore xxx(我女儿的名字) now qualifies to travel to New Zealand without seeking approval upon the grant of your eVisa. As such, we have now issued her eVisa which allows her to travel to New Zealand.
