上个月买了套房子，还没交割， 因为以后要加卫浴 所以最近在家没事order了一份property file.
里面有一份council的报告显示2009年 cracking and ground movement in the south corner of the land beside stream bank and a stormwater pipe outlet. 原因是70年代建房是把多余土方填到那个位置（non-engineered fill) 随着时间推移的水土流失， 但是问题只是局限于那个角落，没有影响到房子和地基。
解决办法就是不要移除那个位置的树，也可以多种点树，也可以把stormwater runoff 改道。
还有一句： because the instability is confined to the non-engineered fill, and is not caused by the stormwater outlet, the council doesn't take any responsibility for remedial works in this case.
