Alpha Health Care (NZ) Limited is part of a multi-national company, engaging in the research, manufacturing, and marketing of health supplementsprimarily made from natural ingredient.

About the Role

We are seeking a self-motivated Production Manager with experience in the Food or Pharmaceutical Industry. The successful candidate will demonstrateprofessionalism with a can do attitude.

Key responsibilities of the role includes:

Delivering optimal production performance and ensure that continuous improvement underpins daily operationsFostering a team environment and communicating regularly with staff.
Contribute to strategic decision-making regarding resources planning, capacity and future initiativesResponsibility for quality outcomes – meeting customer expectations, GMP standards and Company guidelinesProvide leadership, mentoring and training for team members.

Skills and experience:

Tertiary qualified with an engineering/food science related degree
Previous experience in a production management role within the food, pharmaceutical or other related industryClear understanding of good production practices and the need for the highest quality standards
Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
