We are looking for someone can teach Math and/Or Science at the same time. But Science is the MAIN subject.

The Tutor to tutor one student ONLY on Part Time basis. Teaching Science and/or Math NCEA level 1-2.

In Jan 2020 during this school holiday, 3-4 times a week, once school term starts, 1-2 times a week. Hours is flexibile, can be in the evening or weekend.

Ideally, you are a tutor of NCEA level 1-2 and have experience in teaching NCEA level 1-2, OR you are NCEA level 3 or University Student with excellent Science and Math acdamic results.

Relevant tertiary qualification -
Experience of teaching on foundation programmes is ideal but not essential
A sound understanding of teaching and learning
Excellent communication skills
A student-centred focus and skills in relationship building with student
Flexibility and the ability to adapt and problem-solve
