Do I need to tell you if my home is unoccupied?
You do not need to advise us if your home is going to be unoccupied.
However, if your home is insured as owner occupied and is unoccupied for more than 60 days, the additional long-term unoccupied excess applies to any accidental damage on, or after, day 61. This excess is found on your policy schedule.
If your home is insured as a holiday home, we will continue to provide cover when it's left unoccupied.
