老乡的儿子拿PR两年了。2个月前酒驾撞到电线杆上了。前天被移民局取消PR了。一个19岁的孩子要独自回国了。家长后悔不已。要知现在何必当初。在新西兰千万不能犯法。

我明明记得读书时候也听说有人撞上电线杆了，但是人家是留学生还没有pr
由于赔电线杆要很久并且很贵，移民局送了他一张pr来着

移民局是会考虑来nz多久，拿了pr多久一系列的因素来考虑是否取消PR。一般拿了10年的没有大案子不会被取消。

政治正确真是害死人啊，不过酒驾确实不好哇，撞死人就完了，不过撞电线杆遣返真是第一次见，没办法，谁让你不是绿绿，中国这个种族太善良，欺负一下又如何呢？难不成你率军攻打这里吗？哈哈

A residence class visa holder is liable for deportation if he or she is convicted, in New Zealand or elsewhere,—
(a)of an offence for which the court has the power to impose imprisonment for a term of 3 months or more if the offence was committed at any time—
(i)when the person was unlawfully in New Zealand; or
(ii)when the person held a temporary entry class visa; or
(iii)not later than 2 years after the person first held a residence class visa; or
(b)of an offence for which the court has the power to impose imprisonment for a term of 2 years or more, if the offence was committed not later than 5 years after the person first held a residence class visa; or
(c)of an offence and sentenced to imprisonment for a term of 5 years or more (or for an indeterminate period capable of running for 5 years or more), if the offence was committed not later than 10 years after the person first held a residence class visa; or
(d)of an offence against section 350(1)(a) or 351, if the offence was committed not later than 10 years after the person first held a residence class visa, and whether that visa was granted before or after this paragraph comes into force.

酒驾 PR取消是必须得吧，应该要禁止这人永远不能踏入NZ。

拿到RV的前两年只要因为法院有权判处入狱3个月或以上的罪名被定罪，移民局就有权将其遣返，不需要实际被判入狱。

拿到RV后的两年到五年间只要因为法院有权判处入狱2年或以上的罪名被定罪，移民局就有权将其遣返，不需要实际被判入狱，也和有没有换永久没关系。

据《官方信息法》（Official Information Act）文件显示，自2017年10月移民部长Lees-Galloway上任以来，有两名罪犯被特批了居民身份。
这其中一名罪犯曾因酒驾被定罪6次以及因无证驾驶被定罪2次。
据文件显示，当时给这名罪犯特批居民身份，是移民部长Lees-Galloway使用其绝对酌情权（Absolute discretion）作出的决定。移民部长的绝对酌情权是指移民部长不用向上级请示，可自行斟酌情形处理事务或作出决定。

就是看你亚裔不会搞事情呗

部长法定的特别权限，可以无条件特批的。

是的，所有签证都是conditional，其实非自然公民也是conditional的，只是新西兰一般不吊销国籍，其他国家美国，英国有有取消国籍先例。

酒驾不是小事情，就是不是PR，自然公民也不能酒驾，害人害己。

真的有取消pr啊，我认识几个人都酒驾上庭，但找了律师解释虽然花了不少钱，但都给了3-5年延期移民监，也都没事了，这是第一个听到取消的。

哪还敢犯错啊，都夹着尾巴了，这样也挺好，不然那帮人总酒驾，总是运气好不被抓到，现在抓到了，钱也花了很多，还要多坐3-5年移民监，都老实了，再也不敢酒驾了，我看是好事。

第一次和第二次酒驾就是法院有权力判入狱3个月的罪名，第三次或三次以上的酒驾法院有权判入狱2年。

一般犯罪国籍不会被取消，好像也只有叛国和申请国籍时作假2种情况才会被取消。

When you can have citizenship taken off you?
It depends on how you gained your NZ citizenship.

If you're a citizen by grant
The Minister can deprive you of your NZ citizenship if:
you were granted your citizenship because of:
fraud
false representation
information you deliberately concealed when you applied for citizenship
a mistake, or
you got citizenship of another country and acted against the interests of NZ.
Before your citizenship is taken off you:

the Citizenship Office will ask for your side of the story
you’ll be served a Notice by the Minister.
If you think there isn’t a good enough reason to take your citizenship away, you can apply to the High Court for a hearing within 28 days of receiving your Notice. A judge will make a decision on your behalf.

If you're a citizen by descent
Your citizenship can be taken off you if you were registered as a citizen by descent because of:
fraud
false representation
information you deliberately concealed when you applied for citizenship, or
an administration error.
You'll be sent a letter to let you know what happened and why.

If you're a citizen by birth
The Minister can deprive you of your NZ citizenship if:
you got citizenship of another country, and
acted against the interests of NZ.

Citizenship Act 1977

16. Deprivation of New Zealand citizenship in special cases

Subject to section 19, the Minister may, by order, deprive a person of his New Zealand citizenship if he is satisfied that the person has, while a New Zealand citizen and while of or over the age of 18 years and of full capacity,—
(a)acquired the nationality or citizenship of another country by any voluntary and formal act, and acted in a manner that is contrary to the interests of New Zealand; or
(b)voluntarily exercised any of the privileges or performed any of the duties of another nationality or citizenship possessed by him in a manner that is contrary to the interests of New Zealand.

17. Deprivation of New Zealand citizenship in case of fraud, etc

(1)This section applies to a New Zealand citizen who has acquired that citizenship—
(a)by registration under the British Nationality and New Zealand Citizenship Act 1948; or
(b)by naturalisation under that Act; or
(c)by grant under this Act or the Citizenship (Western Samoa) Act 1982.

(2)Subject to section 19, the Minister may, by order, deprive a New Zealand citizen to whom this section applies of his New Zealand citizenship if he is satisfied that the registration, naturalisation, grant, or any grant requirement was procured by fraud, false representation, or wilful concealment of relevant information, or by mistake.

(3)The Minister may not deprive a person of New Zealand citizenship under subsection (2) if—
(a)the citizenship was acquired by mistake; and
(b)to deprive the person of that citizenship would leave the person stateless.

已经19岁成年了。成年人就应该为自己的行为负责。现在只能找律师打官司了。除非能翻案。
