Western democracy has a destruction mechanism. It creates inequality and soon that inequality will mandate a leader that will destroy the very wealth that they have created.
The welfare system is intrinsic to Western democracy, sad is, it becomes a system to reward people who prefer not to work and find excuses and indiscriminately penalise people who chose to work with heavy taxes.
The self-destruction mechanism will become more and more apparent as those nations evolved to their very own process of electing their own democratic leaders where mob cultures and populism will rule and often quoted as the foundation of their liberal democracy while in substance their democratic foundation is decaying and near to collapse.
Housing issues, homelessness and violent / jealousy against wealth and minorities..... police are not willing to help and often quoted as insufficient resources is a sign of collapsing rule of law. A nation that will protect and care more about surface human rights to win some claps in the world stage than looking after their own backyards of neglects and abuses.
