优先党大选前就持反对意见的，如果这次同意，估计优先党粉下次就大部分流失了，权利交换代价太大。

Winston Peter is paying back to New Zealanders. He has traded a majority elected party with a minority elected party to form a government.

This time, he exercises his MMP to pay back to People he has wronged.

He is a politician, and he knows how to play his card and not making himself and party irrelevant.
Labour is getting too powerful, it is time he gets something back by having his veto (saying No). which is timely to get some trust back from his voters.

You can also say that PM has played a good political game, she never dares to pass CGT, but she commissioned a report is enough to get people to scare, scream and run and now she announced "no CGT" will make her sound like a hero? haha...... you all been fooled by Oscar Nobel Prize Actor.

she is now popular internationally and locally - "NO CGT is a captain call" and she should be conferred for United Nation Masterclass in Crisis Management and Nominated for Oscar best Actor

这次多亏皮爷。

只是暂时不征收。如果工党单独执政，或者工绿联合执政。那收资本利得税就是分分钟的事。

所以下次大选，大家一定要投优先党啊。。让老皮再次成为造王者。这样才能制衡工绿。

国家党是没电了。。只能靠老皮啦。

Winston will retire after this term. That is what he said. There will be someone else to take over NZ First.

Just to make it clear, JA (PM) said, as long as she is the Prime Minister, there will be no CGT, even if Labour wins the next election. She will have the capacity as PM for many years to come (3x3x3).
"we will be targeting land bankers and land speculators" instead of CGT -------> They will make it clearer at later stage.

After that National, haha.... by then, the same old CGT is to be rewritten by someone else.

From yesterday news, David Parker said, a new set of rules will be coming out to clarify Overseas Investment Amendment Act, NZ is no anti-investment, "we welcome overseas investment etc. The rules will make the process less costly and efficient for OIO process for developers, buyers who need OIO consent".

Building industry will be going through regulatory reform. I think we are going to see cheaper building materials from overseas and no longer monopoly by a few suppliers.

the radio was discussing about the overseas investment thingy, they said JA's team must have realised "oh shoot, overseas investment is drying up, we need to do something!!!"....LOL
