都说了，我们的税养着council和AT里的那帮白痴，如果这两个机构不解散，新西兰就没有希望了。。。哈哈

West Auckland residents are fed up with their prepaid rubbish tags being stolen from council bins.

Tracie Byerley said she recently put her bin out in the early evening before rubbish collection day and when she returned to put extra rubbish in the bin at 10pm the tag was gone.

The Te Atatū South resident said she was forced to attach another tag so the bin would still be collected.

Byerley said she rang the council the next day and asked for a reimbursement for the tag, but the council employee refused.

Council told her people needed to report the theft so they could tell the rubbish collector to still empty the bin, she said.

What if someone steals my tag?

The tag design includes a security cut to prevent it being peeled off easily once the tag is stuck together. This means that if someone takes a tag off your bin they won’t be able to use it for themselves.

Each tag has a space to write your address as an additional security feature. This will help rubbish collection runners inspect and identify if tags have been stolen and re-used.

问题是，还是有人被偷，然后还是有人的垃圾桶因为tag被偷没有被清空。别说被偷来用，被恶作剧撕掉也够呛。

so much work for rubbish collector, need to check tag (scanning), drive truck, operate the machine.

别说，要是操作的好的话，会有效果的。因为很多人已经很讨厌这两个机构了，现在只是没有别的选择。

Some people just do it for mere vandalism, especially young ones, they don't care if they can use it or not, they just want to do harm, and Council's design of tag is nothing but "nudging" them to mis-behave.
That is why I change to yellow bag now

收垃圾是 council 負責，算在同一條 bill 不是更方便嗎？

我家改成用黄色袋子。比用tag便宜。小家庭根本没什么垃圾。食物垃圾直接磨碎冲下水道，又环保又省钱。

笑什么，是环保啊，新西兰的污水处理是纯生物方法。这些东西不用焚烧不用掩埋最后都是肥料。最好的方法。就是很多人懒得这样处理。

看看基督城多好，市政府发的分类垃圾桶，不用钱，有垃圾桶烦恼的可以来基督城，顺便帮忙推高下房价，哈哈。
