现在整报税整的头大，有人说可以，有人说不可以，请问到底算不算呢？

我会计说是如果之前有保温棉不达标，新的保温棉可以抵消
如果现在没有保温棉，新加的保温棉不能算improvement。

所以建议你咨询会计吧

it is not improvement, it is essential (otherwise is breaking the law).

Essentials eg, changing stove, insulation, otherwise people can't live in it - can be tax deductible.

yes, true.

Mine one was insulted with aluminium foil (under floor) and had to to be replaced and insulated with other material. So, i guess it is a form of replacement insulation.

$1800, for 120 sq m - expensive? The insulation company will issue a certification that it is compliance.

120 sq m means what? if it's ceiling 120 sq m + underfloor 120 sq m, then it's very cheap...haha

ceiling was insulated before i owned the property ( insulation company will give certification, it was done properly)

The insulation is just under floor - 120 sq m, removed foil and insulate new materials. $1800 inclusive GST.
