They are going to Singapore to learn if it is possible ( from Singapore Housing Corp), trying to copy singapore state housing model. May built it in South Auckland or West Auckland ( one giant State housing of 30 stories) with railway links.... haha.

May be, 30 storey one giant state housing building will fill up 10K families... there will be communal gardens, vegetable patches for them to cultivate their own vege, solar energy for renewable water and electricity ( Green ideas)....... haha.

Those first home owners will moan and groan again.... as they don't like to live in the pigeon holes.

感觉经适房项目适合，但是政府又没钱，又想方设法限制国外投资，都并非对症下药啊

Singapore model is only feasible because they always have a single majority government...haha, like 万岁万岁万万岁。Won't work here. But it's something worth considering.

haha.... they want to be government for 9 more years and leave the mess to the next government. So, they have to prove and show result. The kiwibuild or State housing Giant Apartments will be their testamentt of success and wind the next election.

May be they go to Singapore to learn "how to govern for long and for good" and learnt that the magic word is Coalition - "United We Govern" and let's Paint NZ RED
