太失望了，没有清盘

Fletcher announces total losses of $660 million, chairman Ralph Norris resigns

NZX-listed giant Fletcher Building has just announced $660 million total losses from its Buildings and Interiors division, the resignation of chairman Sir Ralph Norris and told shareholders they will get no dividends.

Further provisional losses of $486m have been announced from the Buildings and Interiors business, "leading to a total projected loss of $660m. Fletcher Building chairman announces he will step down no later than the 2018 annual shareholders meeting. No interim dividend payment for half-year 2018," the company says.

"Following a review of projects in the Building + Interiors (B+I) business of the Construction Division, Fletcher Building today announced a further provision of $486m for project losses," the company said.

"Combined with provisions previously announced in October, as well as overheads and other costs, this leads to a projected $660 million EBIT loss for B+I in FY18.

"Earnings guidance for the Fletcher Building group excluding B+I remains $680 million to $720 million as announced in October."

f还有很多大型新西兰建筑公司都有挪用retention（保证金）习惯。这样就算loss也可以保证postive cash flow......

担心啥。。。还有中国建筑集团进驻纽西兰这个行业捏。。。代替这以往垄断领域呗。。。现在很多。。都向着建立小区的模式。。。基本就是。。。华人买的地盘。。。在开发哦。。

我没觉得我可以接盘啊，一开始就是个玩笑，我问的问题，不是说我要接盘，你怎么会觉得是我想要接盘呢？本来就是个问题，干嘛非要往我身上扯？

不会蹦的，跌过6刀就很不错了。project schedule都接到2020年了。
我put order在5.9刀，有兴趣跟上吧

never say never... fisher and pyker once a nz pride was taken over by Haier in 2011.

If fletcher building needs cash injection, may be chinese company can take over . haha... you never know.

Universal homes ltd is owned by chinese, they employed kiwi to do sales, local people here don't know the bosses behind are from shenzhen and hongkong.

Few failing projects ( loses), wrong calculations affecting profits, investors thought that was the only mistakes, now they discovered more mistakes.

During GFC, the company was strong, the drop in share price was due to global economy outlook. This time, it is the company's own doing.

Major restructuring is required for this company. They do well, because of monopoly advantage. Once get too complacent, this is what is happening now. A destruction of shareholders' wealth.

Never say never.

Many so called big company couldn't survive in NZ (market too small, heavily regulated), some moved to Australia. The F company does a lot of nz government projects, roads, highways, those were the advantage they once have, they also own "place makers" (don't think is really profiting).

haha... still not big enough in any global scale. big fish in small nz pond.

NZ Incorporated is made famous in global stage due to its sports - all black, American cup etc., this is how NZ branding came about in global eyes, other than that, as locals, it is sheep, sheep, shit shit........

这个是真的。每次从那店门口走过都想是什么样的智商才去他家买。然后我偶尔晕菜时自己进去找东西从来都找不到想要的理想东西。这么个店还存活到现在很说明问题。

我上学时，在Fletcher工作过，它盖的房子质量还算不错，不过这几年确实不比以前了。

内部人浮于事，导致成本居高不下，近郊的3房apartment居然也要近百万。这完全不符合市场规律。

Too big to fail. 政府不会让他倒的。他只是construction 部门亏，其他的建材啦，民房开发还是很赚的。尤其是建材垄断市场，看看新西兰造房子成本有多高就知道了。
