在新西兰通过“booking"网站订的，到了中国，酒店说，要先取消预订，然后住进来，否则就收违约金，这是什么鬼？

不要被收费， booking.com 收费非常贵。

booking.com 收commission，这样酒店就不需要被抽cut，但是一般来说这么做，很多酒店会给discount

booking.com takes commission from hotels after checking out, however if you go direct from the hotel, u possibly pay more than book through the website because of competition of list of establishments.
