In order to gain residence under the Parent Category, applicants must be sponsored by an adult child (see F4.5.10) who:
meets the requirements to be an acceptable sponsor as set out at R4.5, including being:
ordinarily resident in New Zealand; and
a New Zealand citizen and/or the holder of a New Zealand residence class visa for at least three years immediately preceding the date the application they wish to sponsor is made; and
agrees to meet the undertakings set out at R4.10 for the first five years of the applicant’s stay in New Zealand as a resident.
must be ordinarily resident in New Zealand and for each of the three 12 month portions within the three years immediately preceding the date the application they wish to sponsor is made, have spent a total of 184 days or more in New Zealand
他上面的the date the application 是指收到邀請函後你可以申請時，交申請書時往前算三年。並不是Eoi時往前算。我就是2014年以為那個application是eoi application，然而有一年在國內待超過半年，那次就算錯被拒。現在eoi選上的時間超過半年，如果有在國內待超過半年的朋友，時間一定要算好，我第二次eoi選到後，邀請函寄來時，又差了一天不夠184天，今年第三次選到了，整個就是花了好多選eoi的錢!! 希望大家順利別像我一樣。作者: 懒虫丫丫 时间: 2016-3-2 08:46:42
