haha.... if you are single and own a property. Few months later you are into a relationship. The relationship becomes serious and lasted for about 2 years ( doesn't even need to be 3 years)
On the face of it, your property becomes a relationship property and can be subject to relationship property claim.
Scenario 2 : you used your parents' money to buy a property and mortgage some from the bank. The money is not entirely yours but your parents' hard earned money. The property is put under your name as your parents' can't get a loan.
You met someone and involved in a relationship, it doesn't last long, maybe about 2 years or so.
the property becomes a subject of relationship property claim upon relationship split.

WHAT IF PROPERTY IS PUT INTO A TRUST OR COMPANY?
Property transferred to a trust during the relationship can be taken into account if it is considered that the transfer has the effect of defeating the sharing of relationship property (even if it was not intended to have that effect).
The property cannot be transferred back out of the trust but the court can order compensation by adjusting the share of relationship property, by payment from the other partner’s separate property or, if neither of those is sufficient, from trust income, if any. 作者: truckdriver 时间: 2016-9-11 18:40:23
