New Zealand High Court proceedings – update

Our organisation’s action in the New Zealand High Court against the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants (NZICA) concluded last week. As you will recall, the action was taken as a matter of principle to defend the integrity of the profession, uphold your brand and the CPA designation, and only after all attempts to resolve the matter outside the proceedings were exhausted.

To keep you informed, find below a series of independent media articles concerning the hearings.

We expect the Court to hand down its judgment in approximately 8 – 12 weeks, and we will come back to you once the Judge’s decision is handed down.

简单就是NZICA 和澳大利亚的CA合并后，做广告的时候，说是CPA的学历没有他们的硬，学员素质不如他们的，严重影响了CPA的公众形象。

哦了解了！谢谢！我说我觉得多元化的国家有NZ的CA，CPA，还有ACCA挺好的啊~为什么有个人说CPA是loser考的呢。。。原来是官方说法就这么有问题了啊。。。有意思！谢谢！

CPA門檻低嘛。被認為含金量低也不是無道理。

好像是说在改革前CA各种要求要比CPA严格，所以有些人（认识的)觉得CA不好考就去考CPA了，我个人觉得CPA是你只要够努力使能考出来的，而CA要够努力再加上一点点天份和运气，个人见解。

另外CA改革后好像更难考了，不知道CPA现在是个什么情况

工作的话没觉得CA和CPA有什么不一样，在FIRM里面可能会有差别，我做COMMERCIAL所以不知道
