标题: 嚓！chrous 过来安装vdsl [打印本页]

今天下午 chros 过来安装vdsl 测试了先然后告诉我 vdsl 只有18down 4 up。。。我的adsl2 现在20down 1.3up。。还没有我的adsl 快，我问为什么？他告诉我离exchange 太远，我问这里离exchange多远，600m， 600m， 600m！
我就弄不懂了， adsl2 不是和vdsl 走同一个线么？为什么vdsl 还比adsl 还要慢呢？？？？
我住在st lukes 这边的townhouse，
谁知道什么问题么？？？
还有vodafone 送的huawei hg659 这个猫好用么？有没有什么推荐的？

vdsl超过一定距离之后速度衰减比adsl大的多，所以有可能你这种情况的

hg659的dns有问题，经常会明明连着但上不了网，固件问题，现在还没有解决的固件。手动设置dns吧

没有办法，我这边是townhouse 联排的。。只能将就了。。
可是问题是为什么我的adsl 速度能够这么快呢？？？

因為超過一定距離或 att 超過一定dB以後 VDSL2 的 quility 會 drop 的比 ADSL2+ 厲害, 所以照成你看到的 ADSL2+ 比 VDSL2 sync 速度來的快.

我也不指望vdsl 了。。就等着fiber 了。。。对了去哪里可以查到fiber 什么时候能铺到我住的这里呢？

兩個都要看除非你確定你的sub是哪個公司負責的 e.g. 我的 sub 就是 Christchurch local fibre 公司叫 Enable 負責的

DSL 线路质量好坏与线路长短的关系是有的，但是还是决定于整个信噪比的情况，这个线路干扰太大了吧。可以找运营商调节interleaving model，提升带宽，降低稳定性，但是这个调节结果就见仁见智了

因为家里装的是naked adsl 所以也不知道信噪比是多少。

如果你不介意可以告诉我街名，帮你看一下系统里的dB值，不过如果adsl是20mbps,VDSL的速度是有点低了。另外huawei 659还是不错的

怪不得我经常连着wifi就是打不开网站，请问这个猫怎么手动搞DNS？

Example is Unit9/17 Lyon Ave, St Lukes, should be similar to your property as well.
lineAttenuation: 10 - 10 dB
downloadRate: ADSL2+: 14.4 - 14.4 Mb/s, VDSL2: 17.3 - 17.3 Mb/s
uploadRate: ADSL2+: 1.2 - 1.2 Mb/s, VDSL2: 5.9 - 5.9 Mb/s

Sorry only english in this PC. The values are estimating values, it seems not much worth it for VDSL upgrade unless you would use more uploading like google drive or dropbox.
Attenuation<10.8dB is the range valid for VDSL. Hope that helps.

谢谢大神的帮助，我看了估计就只能等到铺光纤了。。。
不过还好家里的adsl 下载够快23.4 down 1.3 up 已经很满足了

hg659 manual dns貌似有记不住设置的问题，也就是重启又得重新设。。。
spark刚出了200m的fibre phone，应该马上会有hg659的新固件出来，看会不会好一点

I am using voda at the moment, but the speed is not stable at all, specially the WiFi. the signal is up and down a lot. is there any thing I can do myself to solve the problem? such as buy a modem? I did try, but the one i bough is not working at all. I have to refund it. Coz neither voda tech nor products tech can solve the connect problem. I am still using the voda modem. sad story.

Feel it for you. Unstable VDSL connection could be tricky, hard to resolve as well.

Your address would need manual pre-qualification to see the actual results, I have submitted that to Chorus.

地址上只有ADSL服务，没VDSL，接入带宽看着还可以。www.speedtest.net 看一下测速。5-10Mbps/500-1000Kbps都正常。

如果connection 有问题，需要找Vodafone提交faults，不过他们应该也会让你接受NO FAULTS FEE。你的情况不像是这个问题。

至于wifi的问题, 可以看看不同的WIFI AP,这个东西价钱从trademe上几十块到PB几百都有的选。我家里就用了一个TPLINK 3天线的，也挺好，也不掉线。而且Vodafone和spark送的猫和100块钱左右的WIFI设备，说好说坏的人都有。WIFI问题基本没办法。可以考虑刷固件，但是风险还是有的。
可以尝试更换wifi频道，避免同频干扰（邻居的WIFI），还有尽量使用网线连接。不用花钱，可以先试试。

非常谢谢您的回答。voda的技术员也是认为是邻居的太强。因为在卧室我能看见邻居的wifi信号比我自己家的强一格，估计就是干扰。
我们还没有VDSL。还在等待中。speedtest的结果pin要24. 这个对于打游戏来说有点太高。还是等朋友从国内帮忙带一个猫过来吧。别无它法了。
