Reggio is big on arts, 他们有专门的atelier,A place for arts跟 atelierista,专业教小朋友艺术的老师。
每个区都会准备好足够的材料跟provocations( examples or things to provoke children's thinking),去鼓励跟引起小朋友的思考跟创造,并从中学习。

In Reggio, arts is used to advance thinking and present challenge, especially visual arts. Because it makes learning and thinking visible, for both children and educators who in turn can better facilitate their learning.
Reggio很注重nature,因为可以很好的nurture children's sense of wonder and curiosity. 但不完全是追求自然,老师花费很多的工夫set Up environment, provocation, plan project, documentaion, to support and challenge children's learning. art resource也不是说用贵的,是要品质好的,跟适用的,因为便宜的用起来不好用,小朋友frustrated,也就不想继续画了。

我觉得Reggio比你所说的自然,就地取材,寓教于乐(这些每个幼儿园几乎都这样)要更深,他也强调peer跟老师的challenge,把小孩感兴趣(或educator觉得想孩子深入的)更深入的通过各种途径(revisit, different art mediums, "experts", on site study)让小朋友自己研究,develop critical thinking, develop a love for learning.
Thanks for replying. love reading your posts. It's like bouncing ideas off to each other, which helps me think( been thinking how to implement Reggio at home with my baby :). Another aspect I like about Reggio approach.
我觉的那段英文回复理解的挺对的 - your child doesn't have to go to a reggio centre to learn and enjoy learning in a reggio way; as long as you respect your child and are willing to re-discover the world with her in a way that best suits both of you, you are already a reggio mum and naturally your baby a reggio baby:).
