You will neeed to figure out which qualification you need to apply, If it's AFA Authorised Financial Adviser, You just need to take a 5 days course and join PAA and Join a member of a dispute resolution scheme and no criminal background etc. But if you want to get QFA which is Qulified Financial Adviser, you need to take a course which likely will carry on for 6 months, I know Unitec is offering classes, the next stage is CFA which is really diffcult to apply.
