去年办的ANZ账户，当时，没有申请IRD号，今天收到了，我申请的iRD号，信里面说

You need to give your IRD number to your bank, whenever you open a new account. 我不知道现在我是否要把IRD号码给ANZ呢，会有什么差别吗？请大家指点！

税不一样有税号会多退少补

是不是，银行有存款就必须交税，不过，银行每个月都要从利息所得扣除一些啊！

应该是两个原因吧，一个是退税会比较方便，到时候可以直接打到你的银行账户上，还有一个就是每个月的利息也要交税的。
其他的不知道了，等大神们来补充吧。

不过，我现在，银行已经扣了利息的1/3啊，是不是还要扣啊！

收入不同，利息税的税率也是不同的，好像分好几个税率。你赶紧去问问，别多交了利息税。

没给税号的号 default利息税就是 33%

给了税号可以根据你的工作情况降到 10.5%或者17%

If you have a savings account, your RWT rate was set up automatically by default. so better to find out the RWT rate from ANZ then decide what to do next.

。。你可以和银行说。。。你不是税务居民。。

我父亲的银行账号rwt才2%。。。。

存款都放父亲那存就好了
