I stayed for 3 days at the warkworth birthing centre. It's nice that it's free and the nurses take care of you. But if you are only thinking of staying at the hospital for 2 days then go home, i would say just go home, it's more comfortable at home.
The nurses at the Warkworth birthing centre are friendly and because they have less people to look after, they can look after you more than the nurses at the hospital. They also have better food than the hospital. Also your husband can stay for one night, my hubby stayed on the last night and we went home together the next day.
you get your own room with tv etc. They provide sanitary pads, nappies, wipes etc. It's also good to ask them to teach you how to breastfeed, they are on speed dial 24/7. there's also food/fruit and coffee etc available all day. toilets and rooms are clean. :-)作者: pink_emerald 时间: 2014-6-18 20:10:05
the nurses also taught me how to bathe my baby (they teach you once and then you get to do it yourself the next day). it is normal not to have much milk for the first couple of days after giving birth, your milk supply will come after a few days. this is normal. don't worry about your baby not getting enough milk, their tummy is still super small and only need a few drops of milk in the beginning days.
