if it is 60w
60*4(lamps)*5(hours) = 1200W*hour = 1.2KWH

normally it is 30c per kwh, so 0.36 daily, about $100 each year.

BTW, how do you know it is on for 4-5 hours per night? Does it have a sensor?

This is for 5 hours per day already.

二个公式都对，结果是差不多一年30刀。我用上面一度0.0641算的结果。如果安装什么新的东西，估计请人要300刀以上吧？够十年的电费了。

that is why i used 30c for a kwh.

Are you able to change the lamp by yourself? (are you female or male?)

the $100 is based on 60w and 5 hours per day. If it is 100W and 12 hour a day, then it will be $400,

you need to find out the KW of each lamp first.

Let's say it is $200, since you have 10 houses to share that, i would suggest you charge $2 a month, to collect it once a year so $24 for each house. If some one come and go during the year, it is easy to calculate. and that extra money can be for lamp replacement etc.

talk to some of your neighbour, see if they are happy about this. Then send them a letter, explain this and ask for money to be paid to your bank account, for example once every year of $24, on July 01, or $2 each month, which ever they like.

怎么知道这些灯都走你家电表啊？

照着楼上几位算的，还真不是太多钱。按照老外的想法，2块钱也得算清楚的。

要不你就和你邻居们说这电费你家在负责，要他们经常捐些钱什么的，大家好接受点吧~
