Last November we traded our small boat plus a BMW on a 7 metre boat and a vehicle I just never wanted. A Landrover Discovery. Only done 104,000km but we found it had over heating problems. My son kept it in Auckland and in his spare time removed the V8 motor so he could replace the frost plugs. Then discovered a blown head gasket. Put it all back together with numerous other things also fixed, then it blew a radiator hose. Repairs that then still over heating. A new radiator needed. Fortunately him and his mates did it free labour but cost a fortune in parts. Now he brings it back here as he wants one of our Pajero's. So we are getting this unwanted trade. I didnt want it. Still dont. And my son going to pinch one of my Pajero's as well. What a sucker I am

Yes vroom vroom. Imagine the cost of fuel to feed that V8 motor. Bad enough that our boat also has a V8. They are thirsty

My son called me an old man so I am an old man too. But riding a bike on ninety mile beach would be  impossible for an old man, haha ~~

No I'm too old I have no energy to bike that much anymore. But after dinner, I'll sometimes go for a ride around the neighborhood.

Also I had a look at your post about fishing with a kite and I think its very nice and good photos. Thank you for sharing.

pete, u eat rice? chicken feet, salmon head and jelly fish that tastes just like a bunch of crumpled elastic bands? Do u reckon all those years of osmosis have paid off and u now become fully ingratiated with Chinese and their culture?

I have raised chickens all my life. Got 30 or so here. See where there feet go. Chinese people must be starving to eat them. Salmon head I have eaten for years. Best part of fish. Jelly fish you can keep. I will collect them for you if you like

I spent 35 years plus in very senior positions in advertising. Have made many television commercials. Xiaoli has told me I should do this for a long time. So happy to share experiences
