Valentine 2014 was packed with those adrenaline pumping gigs from the day break to when the last stroke of midnight ceased to vibrate. Completely zonked and wobbly in my steps, I waddled off to and through the garden in the same swagger as I'd passed mine with a thousand times prior. I then banged on the door thinking mom or dad was gonna answer it but was soon set back on my heels by the face and the horror on it that so clearly seeped through the glass panel which was the only thingy standing in between me and the scared mush. I started to wiggle out from the zonked state and faintly recalled having seen that mush so many times in the past. After a while, I realized that it was my neighbor's and the next thing I remembered was slouching in my neighbor's sofa and getting ready to shrug off the hangover where I gazed up and met my folks' scorching eyes staring over the top...............
