标题: Car valet, waxing, polishing有啥区别？ [打印本页]

想给车身打蜡，但是大部分店铺都是valet和polishing，他们是否是一样的？

Btw，话说AKL哪里有车身打蜡的店铺比较好的，可以PM我，不要流动的那种，最好在北岸。

VALET 好像是代客泊车,洗车.
WAXING 是打蜡.
POLISHING 是指抛光.
兄弟,查一下词典就知道了.....

VALET mall里面有停车位的洗车.
WAXING 是打蜡，有hand wax 和机器研磨打蜡。
POLISHING 是指抛光，有内饰塑料抛光，皮座椅抛光上油护理之类的。

想自己细心上蜡，一次下来5，6小时打不住的，打完还腰酸背痛腿抽筋，楼主慎重

我同意你说的，车车美容是我从来不diy的项目。。没经验的话又累又搞不好

我一般两个月自己弄一次，然后这之间脏了的话就去touchless自动洗车那里冲，自己上一次蜡太累了。

Quoting the dictionary is incorrect when using these terms in the car industry.

Car valeting is the process of cleaning, polishing and waxing an auto-mobile in order to achieve an as-new look. this including waxing and polishing.

car polish is a product that uses an abrasive action to remove very fine layers of the top coat protection to flatten out the surface to ensure and equal reflection of the light and thus a highly polished look.

Wax is usually a natural product like bee's wax , virtually insoluble in water, so won’t immediately disappear after each wash or rain shower, used protect the car paint work.

Therefore by just applying your polish it wont add protection to the polished paintwork, which is where your wax comes in to protect all the hard work you have just put in polishing and a achieving that deep gloss shine. so you should polish then wax.
