Brian and Beatrice go out to the mall on Friday night. Before they leave they throw a bag of rubbish they had forgotten to put out for the garbage truck over the fence into the neibourhood's yard.
On the way they walk through another neighbour's garden and he shouts at them:"i have told you not to walk through my property".
They go to a movie at the mall and Beatrice accuses a cinema attendant of giving her the wrong change. The employee disagrees and Beatrice, in a loud voice, calls her "a liar and a thief".
Brian adn Beatrice meet up with Jake at the movie and Beatrice is vey impressed with Jake's new cell phone.Jake agrees to lend the phone to Beatrice for the weekend .On the way out the attendant Beatrice had accused of stealing tries to talk to them but Brian pushes her away quite roughly. Two weeks later Beatrice has still not returned Jake's cell phone although he has twice asked her to.
