The Private Plan Change contains rules and provisions that generally align with the new zones in the Proposed
District Plan. This includes;

a Ruakura Logistics Area which will be established around an Inter-Modal Terminal.
•
a Ruakura Industrial Park Area which will contain light industrial uses
•
a Knowledge Area which will allow for the expansion of innovation type activities and is proposed
to include a Suburban Centre
•
a Medium Density Residential Area
•
a General Residential Area; and
•
an Open Space network
