I can't agree with LZ.

Yes it's quite likely NZ wins as it's already 4-0 up over Oracle. Just need one more race win. I remember NZ won 1995 cup and then two years later NZ property boom ended due to Asian Financial Crisis. Until in 2000, Auckland held American Cup, and after one year, NZ property market started another boom.

So if history repeats exactly, then winning American Cup will end NZ booming property market. Haha.

恩，但问题是下一个AC是3还是4年以后，那要不这个boom之前就倒了，要不这个boom就能维持超过下一个AC了。。。

It might prolong this cycle of boom. More money is pouring in as a matter of optimism.

Totally agree! Not only the rental properties, but holiday houses will also boom in NZ, which is good for the housing market and economy in general, will see how it goes.

看看天天这个坛子里面的话题吧，换届选举房子要涨价，金融危机房子还是要涨价，夏天来了房子涨价，银行出台新政策推动市场房子涨价，某个地方地震了房子要涨价，现在'如果‘美洲杯赢了又要和房子扯上关系。真不明白这些人都有多少房压在手上等放盘啊？？？？？

in san francisco, that is where american cup is held, it actually generate 1.4 billion to local economy and create 8840 jobs.

房价肯定是涨，但怎么涨是关键。不希望把什么一点点的风吹草动都和房子联系起来。国家不一样，经济发展水平不一样。涨幅也不一样。地产涨价有很多因素要共同作用才会涨价。就是这个意思。说白了有钱买的什么时候都会买，连首付10%都没有的人也大有人在。最可怕的是那些跟风的，最讨厌的是那些忽悠的。

American Cup to Auckland will add tourism and capital inflow to auckland economy..... it will be nice for this city.

This property boom is already going ( with or without american cup), AC however will add favour ( spices) to the already booming market.
