I'm just shocked that the police would call this a CIVIL case! I'm American, the police here without question would have gone after her and thrown her in jail, and the courts would convict her without question. I sincerely hope someone who knows the law down there can see in their heart to extend their help so this poor man recoup his losses by kicking the bureaucracy down there with a loophole.

法律太扯,都成这样还是民事纠纷,这是蓄意毁坏他人财物,而且数额庞大,屋主估计要六七万的维修费.应立为刑事案件来处理.

首先什麼是民事，就是破壞私人財產，警方是不去理會。雙方私下談判怎樣賠償。例如你車撞到鄰居fence, 那就是民事糾紛。刑事就是破壞公眾物品或有人受到傷害，例如你車撞到燈柱，燈柱受到破壞就是刑事，警方會跟進。
為什麼保險公司不賠。不是保險公司騙人。只是屋主沒買rental property insurance.
屋主買的是普通property insurance, 如火災，水險，小偷等但不包括第三者破壞如房客。
如果是rental property 就要買貴點的rrental property insurance , 不然像這屋主買錯保險什麼也不賠。

是我的话买好回国机票再一刀捅死她，　妈的，　反正新西兰没死刑，　叫新西兰警察来中国抓我吧，　只要房子名字在ｆａｍｉｌｙ　ｔｒｕｓｔ下到是卖了套现转回中国，　大不了就在新西兰监狱里养老，　总算也是出了口恶气。

不能，应该从越南请2个人来，让它们办完事就走人。太气人了，卖保险的话，rental property比自住贵那么多，就是为了保障租客缺德，弄成这样，保险公司说不管？？觉得很有必要知道是哪家公司，坚决不买

单亲，带一孩子，没有工作，没有收入，为什么租给她

i很想知道：在买房屋保险时，告诉保险公司，是用于出租的投资房，那房屋保险就是RENTA LPROPERYI NSURANCE了吗？这个保险比自主的房屋保险费要高些吗？垫底费是不是也要高呢？

有好多好心人愿意帮这个可怜的房东维修GIB和油漆了，可怜啊，就算是修了，也要损失这修复期间没有出租房子的收入，还有这样暴力倾向的女人，孩子跟着她也很可怕

just watch up, if you see people renting in your house changing...........is not gd sign !!!

i saw a neighbour house, a couple moved in, for one week, then change to a young couple..... within a few day, police came, fighting on the street for domestic violence.......

yes, theoriticall you are right......

But, with this insurance payment, you are actually subsidying govt to help this kind of scum bags.
return will be 2%........ you might well run a charitable housing for them.

my policy is : don't rent to this kind of people. this group of people like to go through agent, cos agent will let them in, but not private owner.

普通rental保费贵一点吧，不是太多，垫底费一样，自己选。
Loss rental的保费贵不少。
女的上电视出名了

问过AMI了，恶意损坏保险最高只有3000. 保费会贵50/年。但是赔付的时候是要付垫底费的。

也就是说，如果你垫底费是1000的话，那么最多只能得到2000的赔款。

象LZ故事里的那个房东超过1万的损失，最后还是要自己付

With this kind of damage to every walls , carpets , kitchen and rubbish been left on the property, i don't think 10k is enough to repair the damage.

This kind of behaviour is worse than animals.
