以下是我小儿在南岛大赛后对我的三个问题的答案，从中我能很清晰的看到他对自信对合作的肯定，对于自己的追求目标的自我认定，这就是为什么我鼓励孩子一定坚持自己的运动目标，不怕失误或失败，永不放弃。从他对林丹与李宗伟的比赛评论来看，孩子真的体会了体育精神，这是在课堂上学不到的东西。

成长中的一课：体育精神

—— Jack的自我赛后总结

1,The best match I played was me and Jenny Zhu against Ella Smith and Daniel Wells in S.I. U13 team events on 15/July , because it was Challenging and push me to my limits. At the first set Jenny and I had not quite confidence, but as we went along we became more confident and we could make it, and we won by three sets, the scores was 7:21, 23:21 , 21:17. this time in Invercargill me and Jenny beat them again，because me and Jenny trust and support each other!

2, The best macth I have even watched was 2012 London Olympic Games Man's Singles Final: Lee Chong Wei Vs Lin Dan, because they are both the very top talented badmiton players of the world, in a top world level competiton and it's a challenge for both of them. When I was watching sometimes I wonder" why aren't they losing confidence?" If one of them lost the confidence for a while they would quitely trust themselves again and any of them won't give up easily.

3. My favourit players is Lin Dan, because he is Chinese left-handed and honourable. he wins honourably and loses gracefully, he is a fair player and has lots of enthusiasm and if he loses he doesn't care that losing point, he will just try again for next point,and that takes a lot of confindence to be able to do his best.

22号我们在回国探亲的飞机上。我能在8号去找你吗？比赛从早上8.30 开始一整天都在球馆里，我们当天晚上9点从AKL飞ChCH

好滴，又是一个‘小安妮’。没办法当年图省事英文名叫了‘ANNE安妮’ 。现在就在基督城我的朋友圈中是一堆大中小安妮。

Hi, little Jack,
Good to know that you are so enthusiastic about playing badminton.
It's such a fascinating sport. I love it too.

Like table tennis, it demands good judgement, quick reaction and fast movement on part of
the player. Only the best of the best can beat a formidable opponent.

Yes, you are right, confidence level is often the key to winning a certain game. Good skill is of course a prerequisite. But for any sport, just having good skill is not enough. You must be a good strategist to outplay your opponent.

You need to have a good understanding of your own strength and weakness in playing this game. And after the first round of playing with your opponent, you should be able to tell from his performance where his weakness lies for that particular day.
Remember, even the best players in the world have their weaknesses. And their weaknesses might pop up in different ways. Some are technical, some are psychological, and some are physical. And you will never know when and where one of your opponent's weaknesses might break him down for a given game under certain circumstances. Thus, you need to train yourself from now on for this instinct of diagnosis and analysis.

I am sure, young man, one day you will be as good as your idol, Super Dan--Lin Dan!
